Wayne Parker was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, He spent his early years in Johannesburg and Cape Town. His formative education highlighted his talent for sport,creative thinking and Photography.With his keen interest in photography he decided to pursue a career as a photographer. He attended the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University of Art and Design and achieved a distinction in Photography.
In the mid 90"s he moved to London and was lucky enough to find employment at Metro Imaging where using the facilities of the Photo Lab after hours he was able to experiment and develop as a photographer.
He began his career as an independent photographer in 2001 and was quickly finding work as a freelance assistant for John Midgley, Stephen Shore and Albert Watson
Wayne has won a handful of awards for his commercial work and to this day enjoys a creative balance between Commercial projects and Photographic print sales.
